Legend of the Seeker
One day I did a search for Cypher of the New Mutants. I came across a picture of Richard Cypher. I liked the photo and soon I received a note thanking me for the like. In the note I found out that Richard Cypher is the main character of the TV series Legend of the Seeker. I watched a few free episodes online and soon purchased Season 1. After waiting a while, Season 2's price was cut almost in half and so I bought it. I've only watched the first 2 episodes so far, but Season 2 is even better than Season 1. I really like this show. Oddly, Craig Horner, who plays Richard Cypher, is very hot on TV but not in photos. I've had photos of him but for some reason they just don't capture him properly. But so you know what I'm talking about, here are some pictures. Type in Legend of the Seeker Richard on Google, and you'll come up with tons of shirtless photos of him. :)

Cypher
Cypher is a character from Marvel Comics. His real name is Doug Ramsey and his power is that he can almost instantly understand any language. Not just spoken; he can understand computer language, body language, sign language, etc. Unfortunately, his power wasn't much good in a fight, which often left him feeling like he wasn't really a member of the team. This also led to him committing an act of bravery that cost him his life. He was recently resurrected in a huge X-Men crossover called Necrosha. He's a little different now, not quite the same sweet Doug. But I'm so glad he's back. Missed ya Doug. (Yes, I know he's been back for almost a year. When I found out last year, I almost peed myself with joy.)
Here's some pics:
Here's some pics:
Doug and BFF Warlock. Warlock can take any shape or form, even a skateboard. |
Another of Dougie and 'lock. |
He believed he was infected with the Transmode Virus. |
Doug and Magik. Warlock in the backgroud, taking a very weird shape. |
Lol. |
At one point, the New Mutants had very weird costumes. |
They also joined Emma Frost's Hellions briefly. |
Shortly before his death, he had a relationship with Wolfsbane. |
Ultimate Doug, from the Ultimate Universe. |
Behind only Warlock, his second best friend, and brief romantic interest, Kitty Pryde. |
Doug and Captain Britain. |
Read the tombstone. (I want to cry.) |
I have this card. It was the fist time I ever heard of Cypher. |
This cover is very misleading. The story was also very disturbing. |
This cover is not misleading, but the story is still disturbing. |
But it has a happy ending. |
Because Doug is saved by Warlock and is now a normal human, not a zombie. |
Classic Doug. (Actually, he was possessed by the Shadow King at the time, but that's neither here nor there.) |
